Alsobia dianthiflora – A creeping gesneriad species with softly textured, velvety green leaves that spread by stolons, forming a low, mat-like growth. The flowers are showy and delicately fringed, pure white with fine purple markings in the throat, giving them a lacy, carnation-like appearance. Blooming intermittently under favorable conditions, this species is valued for its unusual flowers and attractive trailing habit.
