Metapetrocosmea Tamiana is a diminutive species that belongs to Gesneriad family and is a relative to African Violets and Cape Primroses (Streptocarpuses). Previously it was known as Deinostigma Tamiana, Chirita Tamiana, Primulina Tamiana as well as Asian Violet.
Her trumpet-shaped flowers, pure white with two bright-purple steaks on the bottom lip, form a striking contrast with dark-green rosette-like foliage.
She is very good bloomer that may bloom all year round
Very easy to grow from seeds and care about. (please make sure to check our CARE page for detailed information)
The seeds are very tiny, dust-like and need to be handles with care. There are approximately 20 seeds in a package or more.
Please allow 3-5 business days for packing and mailing your seeds.
We mail world wide by regular mail envelope (no tracking) or Registered Letter (tracked) by your choice. You will receive a message when your seeds are mailed with tracking # if you choose Registered Letter option.
To Canada and USA it might take up to 10-14 business days, to other parts of the world it can take even a month or two. We do not have any control over this.
If you live outside of Canada you might want to check whether these seeds can be shipped to your country. We can not be held responsible for the mail stopped at the border.
Return policy
Please note that all sales are final. We do not accept returns and refunds. However if there is a mistake on our part, we will either refund or replace your order.
Gesneriad seeds maintain their viability in cold or even freezing temperatures. However they may be affected by prolonged exposure to very high temperatures. If you can't sow them right away please store them in the fridge.
We check all our seeds for viability. However sometimes it might take up to two month for them to germinate even under perfect condition.
