Streptocarpus ‘MK-Fenix’ (M. Karpova) – A compact hybrid with unusual, highly expressive flowers. The upper petals are raspberry-fuchsia with slightly serrated edges and darker netted veining, held prominently above the lower petals. The three lower petals are yellow, richly infused with raspberry-pink reticulated lines that become denser toward the edges, reminiscent of bird plumage. Dark red speckled stripes radiate from the throat. A particularly distinctive feature is the flower form: the lower petals curl inward along the edges, giving the blooms an unusual sculptural appearance. The foliage may show variegation, though this trait is not always present. Early and generous blooming.
